Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has responded to a statement by President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, that his principal refused to deal with him and Governor Nyesom Wike despite his combative and truculent disposition.
Recall that in a piece titled ‘Wike Vindicates Buharists’, Adesina noted that the President would have taken action not only against Wike, but former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, for their “anti-Buhari tendencies” but he didn’t.
He was quoted as saying, “The President could have dealt with them in many ways, either overtly or covertly, but he let them be. He was a father ready to tolerate his many children, irrespective of their differing idiosyncrasies, propensities and predilections.”
